This acne consultation typically takes place via email correspondence and is used to educate customers on the best home-care for their skin. VBeam!
The VBeam is acknowledged as the gold standard for the treatment of redness including cherry angiomas, spider veins on the face, red (fresh) scars, rosacea, and port wine stains.
Optimal results require anywhere between 4-6 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart, although patients tend to see improvement with the first treatment.
VBeam treatments are performed by our experienced laser specialists in the office, and treatment takes about 30-45 minutes. Recovery time is typically mild to moderate. Bruising is likely, so we recommend avoiding blood thinning supplements two weeks prior to your appointment such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin E, fish oil, turmeric, etc. to help decrease your chances of bruising. Always check with your primary care physician before discontinuing any prescription medications.
