How to Use
New to Koji Plus? Start slowly!
Begin using 3 times per week on clean, dry skin. If your skin is tolerating the pads well, gradually increase to every other day or evening, then once daily. Some patients may eventually tolerate twice-daily use, if recommended by their skincare provider.
Gently sweep one pad over the face, avoiding the eye area, lips, and irritated skin. Allow the product to dry completely before applying your moisturizer, sunscreen, or makeup.
A Dynamic Duo: Koji Plus Pads are an excellent everyday foundation for a brightening regimen and can be complemented by our Avani Derm Spa GLOW Weekly Pads for an extra once-weekly boost!
Storage Tip: Keep your Koji Plus Pads in a cool, dry, dark place to help preserve their effectiveness. The refrigerator is a great option! Because the formula contains ingredients susceptible to oxidation, prolonged exposure to heat, light, and air may cause the pads to discolor over time. Keep the container tightly closed between uses.
Although formulated without Retin-A or hydroquinone, Koji Plus Pads still contain active ingredients that may cause irritation, particularly with frequent use. Increase application gradually and follow your skincare provider's recommendations.
Daily sun protection is essential when treating discoloration. Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning to help maintain your brightening results and prevent additional pigmentation.

New to Koji Plus? Start using 3x per week and if your skin is tolerating them well, gradually increase use to every other day/night and then move to every day/night or even twice per day!
If using during the day, give your face a moment to completely dry before applying your moisturizer, SPF and normal makeup routine.
Keep in a cool, dry, dark place (the refrigerator is great!) for temperature control as the pads will oxidize over time.
